How to install phpmyadmin themes

Today I’m going to show you how you can install themes for phpmyadmin. A tool which comes with the installation of Wampserver. Used for managing mysql database.

First thing that you need to do is to head over to phpmyadmin.net. And then download the theme which is compatible with the current version of your phpmyadmin. If you want to know what version of phpmyadmin you are using, then type this on your browser or just click on it to make life easier:

http://localhost/phpmyadmin/Documentation.html

And you will see something similar to this one:

As you can see, I have version 3.2.0.1 installed on my computer.

After downloading the theme of your choice. Extract it, then copy the extracted folder.

As an example, I downloaded the silkline theme. Then navigated to:

C:wampappsphpmyadmin3.2.0.1themes

Then paste the folder that you have copied earlier into that directory. Your themes directory will now look like this if you also installed silkline theme. The other two which you see with the silkline, are the 2 themes which came with the phpmyadmin installation:

Next thing that you need to do is to head over to:

http://localhost/phpmyadmin

And select the theme of your choice:
